Chris Barron, LL.B. (Hons)
Qualified in 1980.
Joined the firm in 1983 and is now Senior Partner.
Chris has a wide range of experience in most areas of law, including property law and litigation; divorce work, wills, probate and estate planning; and general advocacy. He now specialises in commercial conveyancing, including leases, business sales and compulsory purchases, as well as general residential conveyancing.
Paul O'Donnell, LL.B. (Hons)
Qualified in 2000.
Joined the firm in 1998 and has been a partner since 2002.

Legal Advisor: Barrow Council Licensing Regulatory Committee.
Born and bred in Barrow, Paul is proud of his ability to use his role at this firm to positively contribute to the area. He has a thriving property-based practice, dealing with a broad range of related issues from residential sales and purchases, to commercial acquisitions, housing developments, and disputes. He is a legal advisor to Barrow Borough Council, routinely addressing a wide variety of issues, including constitutional matters, procurement, planning, enforcement, and licensing. Paul is a member of the Institute of Licensing and, during his time as legal advisor to the Council's Licensing Committee, has developed a rather niche specialism in zoo licensing and related issues. Since 2013, Paul sits part-time as Assistant Coroner, investigating deaths predominantly from across South Cumbria.
Alan Sharp, LL.B. (Hons)
Qualified in 1976.
Joined the firm in 2000, retired from regular practice in 2016.
Retired Assistant Coroner for Cumbria, with 20 years experience.
Alan is a very experienced and highly respected family and civil litigation solicitor, and also has considerable expertise in boundary and consumer disputes, and negligence claims. He retired from the firm in May 2016, but continues to provide valuable input when required as a consultant.
Leona Case, LL.B.
Qualified in 2008.
Joined the firm in 2011.
Leona deals with all aspects of family law, including divorce and separation, child custody and access, and maintenance agreements, as well as wills, probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney. She is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Matthew Viner, LL.B.
Qualified in 2014
Joined the firm in 2012 as a para-legal, then Trainee Solicitor, and became a fully qualified solicitor in 2014.
Since qualifying, Matt has become an experienced residential conveyancer and also deals with personal injury claims, housing issues, and consumer matters.
Joined the firm in 1989.
Tracy has considerable experience in the administration of estates.
She is also the firm's Office Manager.
Deborah Yearnshire, LL.B.
Qualified in 2003
Joined the firm in 2016.
Deborah has practised in the local area for 12 years. She has considerable experience in preparing Wills, advising on succession and Inheritance Tax planning, and in the creation of Trusts. She is also experienced in advising elderly people in the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney, and obtaining Deputyship Orders from the Court of Protection. Deborah also deals with all aspects of Estate Administration and residential conveyancing.
